The fifth annual Aus Space 24 Australian Space Awards was held on Tuesday, 28 May at The Star in Sydney in the presence of 400 members of the space industry.
Parker, who served as Qantas’ chief sustainability officer for three years before his departure in 2024, previously worked as a senior vice president at Emirates covering areas such as international affairs and environment.
The airline launched its second base at Melbourne Airport on 30 March 2023 and now serves 11 destinations from the city, including seven not served by any other carrier and nine not served by any other low-cost carrier.
