The Northrop Grumman RQ-4 Global Hawk has been one of the US Air Force’s major remotely piloted high-altitude surveillance aircraft since it was introduced in 2001. It was developed into the high-end Northrop Grumman MQ-4C Triton naval surveillance drone, which remains in production.
