Network Rail begins project to clear trees from key rail routes

Network Rail has started an extensive programme of tree and vegetation management works to clear 250km of the Edinburgh-Glasgow and Borders railway lines.
Network Rail is warning passengers that there will be disruption on the London Overground Mildmay line, which runs between Stratford in the east and Richmond and Clapham Junction to the south west, over several weekends this summer.
