Amey has announced plans to recruit approximately 600 professionals over the next 18 months, as part of a targeted investment in the skills and capabilities required to support future growth across priority infrastructure markets.
The recruitment drive will strengthen the Consulting business’ engineering capability and support its expanding portfolio of work, as clients look for trusted partners to help deliver complex programmes across transport, energy and nuclear.
The campaign will initially target approximately 200 new hires during 2026, with opportunities available nationwide across a broad range of Consulting roles including in technical, engineering, project delivery and specialist disciplines. These roles will enhance Amey’s capability and support anticipated demand in priority growth areas, such as highways, energy and nuclear, bringing additional expertise into the business to support major project delivery and help clients respond to the long-term challenges of infrastructure resilience, renewal and enhancement.
Alongside experienced hires, Amey will welcome a further 100 engineering graduates and apprentices in September, underlining its commitment to developing future talent across the infrastructure sector. Through its early careers programme, they will gain practical experience on live projects, supported by structured development, professional mentoring and opportunities to build the skills, certifications and experience needed for thriving long-term careers.
