The 50th anniversary celebrations of the Llangollen and Corwen Railway will culminate with a spectacular event in Saturday.

Memories of the 1980s will come to the Llangollen and Corwen Railway at the end of this month with a ‘Diesel Power and the Ultimate 80’s Weekend’.

The Llangollen and Corwen Railway has announced that it is to launch a new series of Footplate Pass experiences on both steam and diesel locomotives.

The winner of the Infrastructure Award at this year’s Heritage Railway Association Awards held at Brighton was The Llangollen & Corwen Railway.
