Train operator ScotRail has revealed that volunteers have carried out more than 48,000 hours of unpaid work to give passengers using more than two hundred of its stations a better experience.
The Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways have announced the first of their planned ‘Have a Go Weekends’, in which enthusiasts are invited to try out the activities that help to keep the railway in operating order.
