ARENA invests $32m into major sustainable fuel project

The funding from the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) will go towards low-carbon liquid fuels company HAMR Energy’s $92 million project to convert waste products like sawdust and woodchips into methanol, which will then be processed into sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).
