Edinburgh Airport Runway Van With Security Access Stolen By 15-Year-Old Joyrider

A 15-year-old schoolboy has been arrested as it comes to light that the individual stole a van at Edinburgh Airport (EDI) and took it for a joyride. This led to the local police being called to the busy airport on June 25, at 11:30 AM, after airport workers reported a theft. It is understood that the van that was taken was from a maintenance team and was fitted with two-way radios, with air traffic control and security access.
