United Airlines’ Boeing 777-200 Flights From San Diego Won’t Return, But Lie-Flat Beds Will

From this coming September, United Airlines is going to deploy the Boeing 757-200 on its route between San Diego International Airport (SAN) and Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). While more recently the flight has been operated by the Boeing 737 family and 777-200 between the two cities, this will see the retirement of the only airline to operate a transcontinental flight from San Diego with a widebody.
