Drone Assault Hits Gaza Aid Ship Off Tunisia Involving Thunberg

Activists aboard the Global Sumud Flotilla reported a drone strike on their lead vessel, the Portuguese-flagged “Family,” anchored off Tunisia’s coast late Monday night.

The ship, part of a multinational effort to deliver aid to Gaza and challenge Israel’s blockade, caught fire but all crew members escaped unharmed.

Organisers, including Greta Thunberg who was set to board, claimed it was deliberate sabotage, while Tunisian authorities denied this, attributing the incident to an internal malfunction.

The event has fuelled social media outrage and highlighted the risks of humanitarian missions amid regional conflicts.
