Report: Southwest’s Cheapest Fares May Soon Come With No Overhead Bin Access

Southwest Airlines is reportedly considering stripping basic economy passengers of their overhead bin access, a move that would force millions of its customers to purchase baggage access they currently enjoy for free. Under the proposal, Basic passengers would no longer be permitted a carry-on bag, leaving them with a smaller personal item only.
