A Cape Air flight from Nantucket to Boston turned back after the upper portion of the plane’s main cabin door, which has been described by witnesses on the internet as a window section, opened shortly after departure over Nantucket Sound. As a result of this concerning situation, the pilot was forced to return safely to Nantucket Memorial Airport (ACK), and passengers were kept calm. Cape Air later moved them onto another aircraft in order to complete the trip.
