On February 6, 2024, British-based Hybrid Air Vehicles (HAV) announced that they had signed a reservation agreement with French adventure travel company Grands Espaces. Since French explorer and scientist Christian Kempf led an expedition cruise to Antarctica in 1987, he had wanted to create an eco-friendly travel company.
