Social Media Users Complain About Cadbury Chocolate’s Changed Taste, Palm Oil Use

Numerous social media users on X criticise Cadbury chocolate for altered taste due to recipe changes under Mondelez ownership, including palm oil use and reduced cocoa content barely meeting England’s 20% legal requirement.

Complaints highlight higher prices, smaller bar sizes, and environmental concerns from palm oil production such as orangutan habitat destruction.

Users contrast superior UK and Australia versions with inferior American Cadbury produced by Hershey’s.

Apparently now it barely meets the cocoa content criteria to be called chocolate,Penguin and Club bars do not at all.Cadbury’s still just does – 20% cocoa solids is the legal requirement in England. Maybe if they’re not selling well, they would up their game but its about the money.

  1. Apparently they are making their chocolate and dairy in the lab now. It’s the synthetic shot that Bill Gates sold. Check your labels when you buy them. So nasty.
