Portuguese CP receives second Stadler FLIRT regional unit

Rail passenger numbers in Germany increased in 2025, driven by growth in both local and long-distance services, according to preliminary data published by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) on April 8.

Rail traffic on line 354 between Poznań and Piła was suspended on 25 May following a collision between a passenger train and a heavy goods vehicle near Rogoźno Wielkopolskie. One person died and more than a dozen were injured in the incident.
