United Airlines has been in the news recently, after ferrying one of its Boeing 777-200 jets to Victorville. While this site is typically related to aircraft retirements, this particular triple-seven was only sent there forstorage, rather than a full withdrawal. At 28.9 years on average per ch-aviation, United’s 777-200s are some of its oldest jets, and, with 364 seats on board, they are also its highest-capacity aircraft, despite not being the largest.
