Is Russia Finally Using Its Much-Hyped 5th Generation Su-57 In Ukraine?

Boldly into the headlines, timidly into battle, Russia’s fifth-generation Sukhoi Su-57 “Felon” fighter jets might finally be finding their way onto the battlefield. New reports are emerging of the Russians using their prized Su-57 Felon, to bomb targets in Ukraine. Russia has lost over 100 jets in the war in Ukraine (and at least around 250 total aircraft with helicopters). For Russia, having its hyped Su-57s shot down over Ukraine would be a PR disaster, so they are using them well behind the frontlines. The Su-57 “Felon” is Russia’s most advanced fifth-generation supersonic combat jet, employing stealth technologies and highly advanced avionics.
