The group, calling itself the New Republican Movement, accused councillors and assembly members in Newry, Mourne and Down of endangering communities by allowing undocumented men in and pushing what they term sexual indoctrination in schools.
They claimed to know the politicians’ addresses and promised immediate steps from November 28, 2025. Politicians from Sinn Féin, DUP, and Alliance condemned the threats as attacks on democracy, with calls for police probes amid the area’s history of violence and recent protests over refugee housing.
Officials vowed to stand firm despite the intimidation.
