A group of at least four firefighters have infiltrated the Metro Tunnel, stopping trains in the middle of the grand opening.
This was initially reported on this site and caused train services to be halted for over 30 minutes whilst the issue was addressed.
The United Firefighters Union insists the act was not a political stunt despite its two-pronged fight with the government.
