Signalling upgrades and level crossing closures in Wokingham to result in diversions for motorists later this month

Railway reliability upgrades by Network Rail will mean temporary closures of the level crossings at Wokingham station and Easthampstead Road (Star Lane) and diversions in place for road users in the area from 26 January to 19 February.
Network Rail, and the sector’s representative body, the Rail Freight Group, have highlighted rail’s role in supporting port-centric logistics as container trades shift.
