Air Canada Criticized For Removing A National Chief’s Sacred Headdress In A Plastic Bag

The National Chief of the Assembly of First Nations, Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak, is speaking out about a recent incident on an Air Canada flight in which the flight crew attempted to remove her headdress from the cabin. The sacred item was packed in a case, but flight attendants reportedly told her that it needed to be placed in the cargo hold instead.
