Greens Senator Mehreen Faruqi, wearing a keffiyeh, has gone on a tirade attacking “you white people” in Parliament on the basis of their race, and claiming they don’t understand
English as she mounted a passionate defence of Senator Lidia Thorpe’s remarks to burn down Parliament House. In the rambling diatribe given by Faruqi, she went on to attack the Coalition and Labor for supporting genocide.
Faruqi has participated in many pro-Palestine/Hamas rallies, some often attended by people waving terrorist flags and calling for the decolonisation of Australia.
She has also posted on social media an image promoting the binning of Jewish Australians as trash.
Many Australians have questioned whether she is serving the interests of her Australian electorate or the interests of Palestine and Pakistan.
