Capel C.S Ltd has announced its appointment to Greater Anglia’s new £174 million Civils and Building Works Framework, joining a select group of 17 other contractors set to deliver essential infrastructure upgrades across the East Anglia rail network.
The framework, managed by Transport UK East Anglia, will see works delivered across four core lots: depots and lineside assets; stations and non-lineside infrastructure; mechanical and electrical (M&E) works; and station painting. Capel C.S will contribute across all four areas, supporting the safe delivery, maintenance, and enhancement of Greater Anglia’s network over the coming years.
“We are delighted to have been appointed to this significant framework,” says Paul Coomber, managing director of Capel C.S. “Having worked with Greater Anglia for many years across their station network, this appointment reflects the trust and confidence in our ability to deliver high-quality works safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. We look forward to continuing our contribution to the improvement of rail infrastructure across our country.”
