Officials On Crash Of 2 SH-60K Helicopters In Japan: FDRs Show No Technical Faults

The Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force, i.e., the Japanese Navy, experienced a significant tragedy over the weekend: on Saturday, April 20, 2024, two of its Mitsubishi SH-60K helicopters crashed in an apparent midair collision during a nighttime training exercise over the Pacific Ocean south of Tokyo.
