Rex engine incidents may not signal ‘long-term problem’: ATSB chief

Starting late next month, Virgin 737s will be deployed on Brisbane-Mount Isa services, while 737s will operate more Brisbane-Townsville flights starting in November, adding around 6,000 seats per month on the route.

The 737, VH-VZY, departed Darwin at 3:06 pm on Sunday, 30 March, as flight QF113 and landed in Singapore at 6:03 pm local time.

Qantas executives, including then-executive manager of Qantas airports, Colin Hughes, met with lawyers from Herbert Smith Freehills and an industrial relations expert in early June 2020 to discuss the decision to terminate the ground handling staff.
