Hours after hacking group Scattered Lapsus$ Hunters, which was responsible for breaching the data of more than 5 million Qantas customers, posted its stolen trove to the internet, the Flying Kangaroo responded to the hackers’ actions.
The airline, which began flying to Perth in March as its first Australian destination, will double its frequency on the route from 18 July, having already expanded to a daily service, and will continue operating its 174-seat A320-200s.
