Russia’s flag carrier, Aeroflot, is rumoured to be dismantling multiple Boeing aircraft for parts to keep the rest of its passenger fleet flying, as the Russian aviation industry continues to cannibalize aircraft following global sanctions. As reported by AeroTime, the Russian carrier will dismantle eight Boeing aircraft, which are expected to be transferred from Volga-Dnepr, in a contract that is valued at around ten billion Russian Rubles ($130 million).
