As this writer pointed out in a recent Simple Flying article titled “What Fighter Jets Does India Have?,” the MiG-21 “Fishbed/Bison” is hopelessly obsolescent, as she made her maiden flight in 1955. In other words, it’s a 2nd Generation jet fighter.
