Turkish Airlines is huge in Africa, with its passenger network from its Istanbul Airport hub shown on the following map. The carrier's geographic position is crucial in its network breadth, especially in relation to Europe, where most of its passengers traveling to/from Africa go. The use of narrowbodies is very high, and one-stop routings are important, too.
