US FAA Extends Haiti Flight Ban Into Next Year Over Security Risk From Terrorists

The United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has extended the flight ban from the US to the Haitian capital into the next year over security risks, according to a report by Reuters. The move comes as the security situation in the country remains dangerous due to armed gang violence. This restriction for Port-au-Prince flights had been set to expire on September 8, 2025.
