Taxpayers to be slugged $70m annually for new Treaty bill

Victorian taxpayers will shell out more than $70 million a year to fund a new permanent Indigenous body under the Allan government’s Treaty Bill — with total costs set to exceed $586 million by 2029.

No one has asked for this treaty with Australian’s clearly stating in the referendum they did not want a treaty.
