Essendon have confirmed a further two list changes, with Jye Menzie and father-son Alwyn Davey Jnr both not offered contracts for 2026.
The pair join Dylan Shiel as departures from the Bombers after a nightmare season that saw them lose their final 13 games.
Menzie joined the club in the mid-season draft in 2022 and went on to play 48 games for the Bombers.
The 22-year-old was a regular in 2023, playing 21 games and kicking 23 goals.
Known for his pressure and tackling, Menzie fell out of favour this year, only managing 10 games, including the final four of the season.
He kicked three goals in last Wednesday night’s loss to Gold Coast.
Davey, meanwhile, joined the club as a father-son selection in 2022, along with twin brother Jayden. Their father Alwyn played exactly 100 games.
