CelcomDigi CEO to step down after three years

Thai operator True Corp said it expects no impact to its operations or merger with Dtac, as the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) faces an order to review a lawsuit in regards to its approval to the merger. 

Mobile operator Orange Burkina Faso is reportedly unable to access almost 15% of its telecom sites due to the security situation in those areas as fighting between the military government and Islamist armed groups continues.

Airtel Tanzania managing director Dinesh Balsingh revealed the operator had expanded its coverage with newly constructed towers, as part of an initiative to boost connectivity in rural locations, The Citizen reported.
