Which country has the most superior fighter jets? The answer is simple: the United States. The United States accounts for the vast majority of fighter jets operating off flattops today, and the United States Navy’s Air Arm (Navy and Marines) is unrivaled. Even so, the Chinese are rapidly developing an advanced aircraft carrier-based fifth-generation fighter jet, while France is the only other country to operate its own domestically-produced carrier-based fighter jets.
