London Heathrow is the UK’s busiest airport. According to Cirium Diio data, it has an average of 674 departures a day in August, which is down marginally compared to last August. Thanks to being among the world’s leading airports for widebody flights, it has 221 seats per takeoff. That’s higher than any other major European facility.
