Digital signalling coming to Yorkshire as part of £4bn plan

Network Rail has announced a 10-year £4bn signalling plan that will see better reliability using a mix of traditional signalling and digital control.

Commuter train operated remotely thanks to Alstom / DB partnership

On Thursday, 29th January, Alstom collaborated with German train operator Deutsche Bahn to demonstrate the remote operation of a commuter train.

Alstom recently held a Supplier Day and Corporate Social Responsibility Awards ceremony in Derby, attended by over 200 industry stakeholders.

33012 is set to visit The Greatest Gathering in Derby this August.
