At various times, the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific have been labeled as the centers of global aviation. With 38% of global demand, significantly driven by the return of the major Chinese carriers, it is probably fair to give that accolade to Asia-Pacific, although there may be another global center with a credible claim to the title.
