US Launches Action Against Mexico Over “Blatant Disregard” & “Abuse” Of Bilateral Aviation Agreement

The US Department of Transportation (DOT) has announced a range of actions against Mexico over its disregard of the 2015 US-Mexico Air Transport Agreement. The DOT alleges that Mexico has not complied with the agreement since 2022 after rescinding slots held by US carriers and forcing US-based cargo airlines to relocate their operations.
