Racecourse Road has re-opened in both directions after an over height truck damaged overhead wires near Newmarket Station. One lane is open each way with delays up to 10 minutes.
Route 57 trams are still diverting via Mt Alexander Rd
Craigieburn and Seymour line trains are running but delayed (up to 45 mins) Repairs continue — full access will return when safe.
A petition has been started today to ban trucks from Racecourse Road.
