FAA & Boeing Say 787 Dreamliner Fuel Switches Are Safe

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Boeing have reiterated to civil aviation authorities and operators of the Boeing 787 aircraft that the type’s fuel switches, which share a common design with other Boeing aircraft fuel switches, are safe. The messages came shortly after the Indian investigators released their preliminary report of the fatal Air India accident in Ahmedabad, India.
