Gulf of Sidra: What Happened During The US’s Only Combat Victories Of The 1980s

Despite a number of global conflicts taking place during the 1980s, the United States only ever scored four combat victories, all of which have been attributed to F-14 Tomcats. Two incidents both took place during the decade in the same location, over the Gulf of Sidra in the Mediterranean.
