Denver International Airport (DEN) is a fundamentally spooky place. There’s something about the massive facility located weirdly far outside of Denver that always seems to raise an eyebrow. Even travelers who have flown out of Denver International their entire lives still find the airport itself somewhat strange. Even after driving four hours to pick someone up at the airport, possibly from a neighboring state like Nebraska or Wyoming, they will still take a moment to point out the oddities about this facility.
