Lufthansa Delays Airbus A340-600 Retirement As Boeing 787 Delays Persist

We had reported at the end of April that the final C-check had been conducted for Lufthansa’s A340-600 fleet, and that the jet would be retired from commercial service in late 2025. Well, it looks like plans have changed and the German carrier will instead retire these widebodies in early 2026.
