World First: Embraer Automates Takeoff For The E2 For Increased Range From Challenging Airports

Embraer has announced the development of an automatic takeoff system for its E2 passenger jets, which will enhance the aircraft’s range capabilities. From short runways, Embraer anticipates the new system will increase the range of the jets by around 350 nautical miles.
