Nine News US correspondent Lauren Tomasi has been struck by a rubber bullet at the LA protests.
Los Angeles has erupted into a War Zone with the National Guard being deployed into the city to manage increasing protests over the Trump Administration detaining illegals in preparation for deportation.
She joined 3AW Mornings to detail the “volitile” situation which has left a “nasty bruise” on her calf.
“It really did hurt, I’d say they were the size of a golf ball,” Tomasi said on 3AW Mornings.

For context LA is a Democrat blue state…..
The reporter put herself in the line of action, compromising her own safety when the Police told people to move on….
Trump is gate keeper as illegal migrants are the done who are being deported or encouraged to self deport….
whist in AUS with our weak leaders our borders are open and no vetting of newer citizens from warring nations putting our own safety at risk!!!

Unquote:The Albanese government has allocated thousands of visas to Afghans and committed welfare support for their settlement.
There’ll be 26,500 additional places for Afghans between now and the end of 2026.
The programme “aims to reunite refugees with their families in Australia”.
Police now under taking their own investigation and she was not the only media person who was shot that day.
Protests have continued for a fourth straight day in Los Angeles, with an ABC camera operator struck in the chest by a less lethal round in the latest in a string of incidents where members of the media have been hit by crowd-control munitions.
The demonstrations against US immigration enforcement continued on Monday, with the Trump administration ordering 700 additional US Marines into LA and intensifying raids on suspected undocumented migrants.
Now that the Australian political class and media are interested in investigating innocent people being shot with rubber bullets by police, I think it’s time we had an investigation into why Victoria Police indiscriminately shot at innocent Victorians, including families with children, at the Shrine and other protesters at various locations throughout the city of Melbourne.
Many people were shot at close to point-blank range and suffered serious injuries for merely peacefully walking in Melbourne. If the media and politicians you support are not asking these questions today in light of Albanese’s concern over an Australian journalist in the USA, then they do not care about Australians.
