Allegiant Air is one of the newest operators of the Boeing 737 MAX family after taking delivery of its first aircraft in September 2024. As of today, the carrier’s MAX fleet consists of 12 aircraft, all of which are the Boeing 737 MAX 8200. This special variant of the MAX 8 is the plane’s high-density version certified to carry up to 200 passengers, hence the name, although Allegiant’s MAX 8200s are only equipped for up to 190 passengers.
