Melbourne man’s tooth knocked out during random attack on way home from night out

A 54-year-old man has been punched and threatened while walking home from a night out in Melbournein what he described as an unprovoked attack.

Marty, who didn’t want to provide his surname, told 9News he was cycling across the Evan Walker Bridge to Flinders Street Station when he was approached by two young people.

“Just walked up and punched me in the jaw,” he said.
