The Lockheed U-2, nicknamed the Dragon Lady, is among the few aircraft of the United States Air Force that have remained in service for over 50 years, first taking to the skies in 1955. The U-2 would prove over time to be an exceptional spy plane, holding many critical advantages over other reconnaissance aircraft.
