Scandinavian Airline System (SAS) is understood to be switching airline alliances in the second quarter of 2024. This move will fundamentally change the dynamic of airline alliances, as SAS founded Star Alliance on May 12, 1997, together with Air Canada, Lufthansa, SAS, Thai Airways International, and United Airlines.
