Qantas, the flag carrier of Australia, is investing in an extensive fleet renewal program, which has seen the entry of the Airbus A220-300 under the QantasLink brand. This move was primarily to replace its aging Boeing 717 fleet, which is now retired. Qantas is starting to receive its first A220 in December 2023, and now has six in service, with a further 23 more on order.
